Sima is my 2 year old Seal Point Siamese. I named him Sima (pronounced like Simba without the "b"), because I had searched for names and it said that it meant "treasured prize". I grew up with Siamese and Burmese cats my whole life up until I left home for college. Although I have had several domestic cats and still do in my household, I never was able to get a Siamese. When I had my 4oth birthday I had an irresistible longing for a Siamese. The personality of the breed is so distinctive and unlike any other cat that I had ever known and I was missing what I had experienced as a child. It took me a while to locate a breeder in my general area as I refused to accept a "ship a kitty". After some searching I finally found someone about 2 hours from my home. All I can say is that he is amazing! Sima has so much intelligence and personality. He is a talker and a very busy active thinker. He is
affectionate and devoted. He also is talented and plays catch and retrieve.
I am amazed every day at my graceful, intelligent friend full of personality and beauty, he is definitely the "Treasured Prize" I had hoped for. In my opinion, the Siamese is the ultimate of cats!
