When I was little we had a blue point meezer named D.C. after the movie hit "That Darn Cat". DC lived a wonderful long life of 20 years. No other cat compares to the personality of a Meezer. They are almost human and this is when I started to realize how much I loved my cats. Pee Wee came into my life as a gift from my brother. He was a wedge head chocolate point. Words can not describe my feelings for this cat. Not one day would go by that I wouldn't pick him up and hug him. He would give me kisses and then he would feel my face needed a bath. I really think he thought I was one of him. Pee would follow me everywhere. Many a time I would close the door to my walk-in closet and leave for work. Needless to say when I came home I could hear that all to familiar voice. The closet was totally trashed. I always felt that he understood what I was saying to him. He would chase my husband around the house and they would both play hide and seek. God took Pee from us when he was only 8. It was tragic for us to loose him. Pee is buried in a special garden on the side of our house. We have a St. Francis statue right next to him. Someday I will see him again and hold him and tell him he was the best cat in the world.
