We knew something was odd when we were shoved in a box,
Then yet more torture with bumping and knocks.
Stuck in there for ages you know, not a drink or a cuddle,
I feel a bit sick and I'm all in a muddle.

Oh, a face at last, can I have a cuddle?
She shut the door again! She's in trouble.
We miaowed and miaowed but no-one cared,
"How are you Indy?" - "Just a bit scared"

We woke to bangs and cold air,
Whatever they're doing, this isn't fair.
Ahh, warmth again - "We need a pee",
Freedom at last, "WHERE ARE WE!"

Purr, purr - it's nice in this room,
Let's eat and drink and have a groom.
They go to sleep and we decide to play,
Ooh, this is lots of fun; I hope we can stay.

Oh no, the box treatment again,
Back to the car and wet in the rain.
Just a short drive to stand in a queue,
I can smell cats - and not just a few!

Who are you with the green coat on?
Pokes and prods and then he's gone.
Back in the box and away we go,
Where to next, who could know?

Back out the box, "Would you give us some peace?"
Into a cage, I like this white fleece.
This isn't so bad; I like my blankets to hide,
And my lovely sister is right by my side.

It's getting a bit loud, lots of people mulling around,
Then it's all quiet - there isn't a sound.
I wonder if that's his mum holding him up in the air?
Now they're coming for me- ooh fun, your arms are bare!

Time and again they come to lift, prod and tell,
I'm getting sick of this; they're making me smell!
Mummies back and she lifts me up to speak,
I feel threatened now, put me down to sleep.

It's so hot; I'm tired and stressed,
Can't you tell, I'm not impressed.
Hiss, I don't like the smell of you,
Leave me alone, what can I do?

So back in the box, "DON'T LET HER IN!",
Smelly creature, go back in your own tin.
Off on another journey, when will it end?
Hold on a minute - who took my friend?

I sleep for hours and then I smell home,
Thank goodness for that - now I can roam.
Hi Elicha, Aria, Lea and Missi,
I'm happy now - here comes my sissy.

I don't understand why but that very night,
I got loads of hugs and kisses - I must have done something right!
