He wasn't much of a social cat
He just sat there all day long
For being a cat siamese bred
No one wanted this one

One day a girl strolled in
She fell in love with this cat
She asked to take him home
But she couldn't and that was that

She didn't give up for this cat
She said, "I'll take him home."
So one day her parents gave in
And she just smiled and sung

So she took him home forever more
Together they would be
This joyous girl and this happy cat
The best friends you'd ever see
