Feline Online is one of the most enchanting and amusing fictions I have ever read. Like most of us who are lucky enough to be owned by Siamese cats, we love nothing more than reading about them. The author, Elyse Cregar has captured the essence of these beautiful felines in a very realistic way. All of us will be able to identify with one of the book's characters, Amanda, when her Siamese cats tear up her paperwork or when their pet bird wreaks havoc in her living room.

The story is about a woman, Amanda and her neighbours' child, Emily, and Amanda's Siamese cats, Foo Foo and Tarzan. The Egyptian cat goddess Bastet teaches Tarzan to read and surf the Internet so that in time, mankind, will again worship cats as the supreme beings that they are.

Even though this book is primarily written for children, don't be deceived because any adult who owns cats will not be able to put this book down once they pick it up. Feline Online will make you laugh and will make you ponder about your own cat's antics and behaviour. There is so much in this book that we have all experienced with our own Siamese, like the panic we go through if one of our "babies" escapes out the door, or the frustration to arrive home and find our curtains torn to shreds. Yet we all derive the same pleasure as Amanda, when our cats are on our laps, purring away madly.

The author has very cleverly managed to integrate the joys of owning Siamese, with modern technology and ancient Egyptian history yet still create a story that will keep the reader interested from start to finish.

I would recommend Feline Online to anyone who has owns a Siamese cat, or to any cat lovers in general. I don't think any child or adult would be disappointed with the story and content in the book.
